F. Roger Hardesty (Founder & President) - The Hardesty Family Foundation, Inc. was established in December 2005, by F. Roger Hardesty. Roger is the founder and CEO of United States Aviation Co. and The Hardesty Companies, Oklahoma-based companies with diversified holdings. Roger and Donna began their careers in construction and real estate. The knowledge of construction and mechanical experience gained as a boy led to Roger's successful expansion into the ready-mix concrete business. Inspired by a love of flying, Roger founded a variety of related endeavors and today they own and operate United States Aviation Company, one of the premier Fixed Base Operations and aircraft charter companies in the USA.
Donna J. Hardesty (Founder & Director) - Donna was born in Frederick, Oklahoma and grew up in Carnegie, Oklahoma. Roger and Donna have sacrificed to get where they are today. It is this pioneering spirit which led them to create the Hardesty Family Foundation, Inc. Donna is a graduate of the University of Tulsa with a B.A. in Secondary Education. Her ties to Oklahoma, combined with a rich insight in the value of education, have influenced her grant making efforts. Donna has a conviction to public stewardship through service to charitable organizations like the Tulsa Ballet, Tulsa Boys Home, Salvation Army and Tulsa Opera.
Michelle Hardesty (Director & Staff) - Michelle Hardesty is currently the Executive Director and a Director for The Hardesty Family Foundation, Inc. Michelle came into this position with a strong background in business, as President of Hardesty Realty Corp. As the Executive Director for HFF, Michelle is responsible for providing the vision, organization and leadership for their charitable giving. She has served on the Fab Lab Education Committee spearheading a STEM research project with the Lab and Dr. Chan Hellman of OU-Tulsa. She has served as Honorary Chair and been involved for several years with the Ihloff Fashion Show which benefits the Arts and Humanities Council of Tulsa. Michelle currently serves on the Regional Board for Boy Scouts of America. She has also served on several committees of the Indian Nations Council of Boy Scouts including the Whitney Young dinner and the Property Oversight Committee for their capital campaign. She was selected as one of Tulsa Business Journal’s Women of Distinction in September 2012. Michelle’s undergraduate degree in Journalism is from New York University.
Marilyn Cox (Director & Secretary) - Marilyn Cox is a Director for The Hardesty Family Foundation, Inc. Marilyn has worked as the Executive Assistant for The Hardesty Companies since 1981. She was born and raised in Muskogee, Oklahoma and moved to Tulsa in 1978. Marilyn holds an active Broker Associate License from the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission and has been a volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma.
Alex Cristo (Director) - Alex Cristo is a Director for The Hardesty Family Foundation, Inc. Alex’s grandparents, F. Roger and Donna Hardesty, established the Hardesty Family Foundation in 2005. Before becoming a director, Alex served as an intern for the foundation, reviewing grant applications, conducting site visits, and compiling recommendations for board meetings. He served as an accountant in Los Angeles on a number of HBO films and television series including The Pacific, Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, and Bernard & Doris. Alex was born in Tulsa but attended High school in Phoenix, Arizona. He graduated with a degree in English and Accounting and his MBA from the University of Tulsa

Dana Wilkes (Staff) - Dana joined the Hardesty Family Foundation as the Grants Manager in February 2012 after serving as the resource development director for the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits. Dana has worked for the YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City and the American Red Cross of Central Oklahoma. Dana was born in Kansas and attended school in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. She has been married for eight years and graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in sociology and a minor in criminal justice. Dana is currently serving on the board for the Hardesty Center for Fab Lab Tulsa.
